The Ph.D. program in Finance at ISCTE-IUL is a rigorous program designed to train students to produce high quality research. The program is suited to students who want to become faculty members at research universities or who want to lead research departments at financial institutions.
The program is highly quantitative in nature and therefore new Ph.D. students often have a background in finance, economics, engineering, math, or statistics. Although some students have completed graduate work prior to entry into the Ph.D. program, it is not necessary to have any graduate training.
Reasons to choose the Finance Ph.D. program at ISCTE-IUL:
| What you will find:

Comprehensive and flexible program designed to equip the student with all the tools necessary for high quality research; |
